Spare Time
Dear Diary,
This is what we do in our spare time... CHRIS (guitar- he of the boyish looks) has a million different interests. He is a major Flight Simulator buff and pretty darned avid about computer games in general. His own original project called Sharon Needles is some of the wildest stuff out there. Sporting bizarre lyrics, the music is very layered and treated. He gets silly with his very funny wife Candace, who works in her Mom's wedding chapel here in Nashville. Christian also likes to spend time on the lake with his buddy Jim Hill and hang with other friends and drink beer.
DIBBLE, our sound man, watches TV and rented movies with his wife Cassie. He would readily admit that's virtually all he does.
LUCKY (bass- often dressed in chicken overalls or a snazzy leopardskin outfit) spends much of his time moving, although it appears he's at last found a place that suits him and his girlfriend, Jo Lynn. The last place they lived turned out to be an oven above a crack dealer. They got the hell out of there as fast as they could.
Except for playing for a band called Uncle Slim, what in the hell Lucky does otherwise is anybody's guess. He could be a millionaire, though, for he is very frugal with his money.
MARK (drummer) is the chief baby maker in the group. His second child in due in a month or two by his wife Constance, who is a school teacher. Mark works a second full time job at Tennessee Press Services. Returning at night from this job to his family- he has a daughter named Ivy- Mark effectively has no free time. Mark does collapse into the top bunk of the van when we go on the road and read away. Most of the books are swami-type stuff.
MEL (boy) has been working on the first book in a book series for about a year. It's a "pre-dummies" computer book. Though Mel finds it very hard to be simple, he has made good progress and hopes to finally and at last pitch the damn thing soon.
He also is webmaster of the band site, plays backgammon on the web from time to time, and is a major yoga freak. He started his practice about 7 months ago, and it has quickly developed into a core feature of his life.

TONY (keys)has a son, Max, with his wife, Laurie. Crow is an excellent daddy (as is Mark) and hangs with his one year old whenever possible. He also is involved in a really cool indie record label, Bloodsucker records, and is a near-scratch golfer.
Tony and Laurie hang out with some of the city's most creative and "alternative" people. (Though everybody in the band has a core group of funsters counted in each cadre.)
As a whole, the band seeks humor everywhere. Upon finding it, the boys hide it where no one else can steal it.
