Main Street, Phi Tau- UGA

Dear Diary,

Here, there, and everywhere.

That's where we have been- or are going- this September. 13 shows in all is all.

After last week we now have another pin in the map. LaGrange College, which we played on Monday, had never seen the likes of us, so it started a little slow at first. The fact that we now have a Pepto Bismol endorsement may have freaked them a little. But by the time it was over, there was dancing in the streets. (The fact that it occurred on a street helped that to happen.)We left with warm feelings in our hearts, heart-wise, and the people could not have been nicer.

Lambda Chi at Samford- now they HAD seen us before, and we were back again at the scene of the crime. Last year we were washed right off the outside in to the house, but weather permitted us this time to remain under the stars. The boys put us on the side of the house in a natural amphitheater, which made me feel sylvan and Roman at the same time. Catapult took on a literal meaning for the first time in centuries. Anyway, these boys were rockin- and so were the girls. I am sure we personally accounted for the Chops' great pledge class.

Main Street, that great street. Hello, all. All our buddies were back again for the first foray into the school year. Shannon Riley, Tina Sackett, Carol Cox, Jennifer Stubblefield, and 65 others- thanks for joining the fan club. You all are da bomb.

Phi Tau- UGA. A popular hangout last Saturday. The place was awash with repeat customers and offenders. We braced ourselves for a frontal assault but were met with salted peanuts. I got an email the next day from a happy Phi Tau. I am happy that he is happy and he is me and we are all together. Goo goo ga joob. Phi Taus kick ass.

This week: Club 13, The Georgia Theater, and The Ivory Tusk.
