Week ending Nov. 22, 1997 A.D.-
Pike Auburn, Swine Ball- Nashville
Dear Diary,
It was the first frat party we have played in Auburn in 6 months. The eve of the Iron Bowl- what could have been a better reentry?
The boys were revved up and feisty and the girls were revved up and feisty and we were revved up and feisty, so it was one big revved up and feisty occasion. There were obviously some mothers and fathers, and while I thought they would be appalled, it was I who was appalled when one of them stripped naked- no, just kidding...
Anywho, it was a gas. Thanks, Pike!
Squeal like a pig. There was alot of that going on- pork barrel philosophizing, pigheads, and Mrs. Piggy in the annual pig sty called the Swine Ball here in Nashville. We all porked out and then brought home the bacon. Jim Molpus, Adam Dread, and the whole gang were great- and while I would like to say we were the main attraction, we took a back seat to the urinal from Tootsie's Orchid Lounge which they auctioned off. Tirko and the Sorry Old Buzzards along with the Phantom 5, a four piece surf band, were just great and everybody came with their party shoes on.
Can we do it again next year?
