Dear Diary,
Well did you miss me? Unca Mel and his Merry Pranksters have been quite busy, logging over 1,000 miles this past week.
We rambled into Knoxville Wednesday night to meet the Kappa Sigs for a real wingding. My buddy and fellow MBA alum Andy Cort, the social, brought us back to a house we have rocked several times in the past, but this time was special. This is their big party week, and I was dee-lighted to see many MBA grads as well as a bunch of Faces From Other Places I had seen before. There are many awesome girls at UT, and it seems that all of them were there. Look-ing goooood. Moving better. Shake shake shake.
Anyway, the soiree was the complete package. Thanks, guys. Come see us next Tues. at Flamingo's!
Friday brought us back to the Chameleon Club in Atlanta. Among the usual suspects were grads from UGA and Auburn, some Georgia Techsters, CPA's, CPU's, MBA's, MD's, and a few people who were completely FU'd. The people who work there are among the best (except for the monitor guy who hits on his girlfriend the whole show- get a LIFE), and Joe and the other owners now have the club in the best shape since we began playing there. I was jazzed to have a number of people tell me the like our site. Could it be the blood and sweat is paying off?
We luvvvv playing Hotlanta. Makes us feel extry cool.
A gas. That's what it was at the Theta Chi's in Athens. Short of Mom's Home Cooking, they could not have made us feel more at home.And the room and the stage they have is a killer- one of the best we play anywhere. The crowds in AAAthens are also some hard- rockin folks, and with all that the band got in a zone I'm going to demand return directions to, it was soooo good.
